How We Check The Figures

Every rating, review count and from-price shown here comes from the booking listing itself, not from memory or marketing copy. The most-reviewed tour shows 4.8 across 7,444 reviews because the listing says so, and the weakest-rated one carries 3.8 across 8 for the same reason. Figures are pulled in a single locale, so two pages never disagree about the same tour. Where a listing publishes reviews but no star average, such as the tour with 2 reviews and no average, the page says so rather than borrowing numbers from elsewhere. Fifty-six of the 65 tours publish a from-price, running from $17 to $174.20, and the remaining nine show price on the live listing only. Durations come from the listing too, which is why a two-hour walk is shown at two hours while listings that state no running time are marked as not captured.

How The Site Earns

Some links here point to a live booking page, and when a booking goes through, the operator pays a small fee. Travellers pay the same price they would pay booking direct. Rules We Keep

Rankings reflect what travellers actually scored, not what an operator would prefer, and no payment shifts a tour up or down the list.
